Welcome to The Grange Therapeutic School

Set in the peaceful Leicestershire countryside, we offer day school places for pupils between the ages of 8 and 18 who have social, emotional and mental health needs or autism. 

Our aim is very simple: we want to equip every pupil with the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthy, productive lives. This is summed up in our motto – “Discover Potential – Enjoy Success – Prepare for Life”. Many of our pupils have very complex needs and challenging circumstances, but we always look beyond the issues to see their innate potential within and give them the chance to experience a range a opportunities so they can be the best they can be.

We offer pupils a wide range of creative indoor and outdoor learning opportunities and extracurricular activities.  Each pupil has their own curriculum, centred around both indoor and outdoor activities they enjoy, to ensure they renew their interest in learning. Experienced teachers and tutors ensure they take advantage of the school’s spectacular rural environment which has its own carp lake, as well as riding and water sports activities nearby.

We work together as a team with pupils families and carers as well as external agencies involved in their life. Our aim is to create a safe environment where our pupils can develop academically whilst learning the broader skills they need to succeed in life.
