Paul Winspear has edited Iliffe Media's Bishop's Stortford Independent since its launch in October 2017. A lifelong provincial journalist, he has previously edited the Hertfordshire Mercury and the now defunct Herts & Essex Observer and Harlow Star. He started as a trainee reporter on the Rotherham Advertiser in 1982.
