Arrest made after man left with ‘serious’ head injuries following early hours assault in Boston




A man has been left with ‘serious’ head injuries following an assault in the early hours of this man.

The incident took place outside The Moon Under Water JD Wetherspoon pub in Boston’s High Street.

A man has been arrested.

“We are investigating an assault in Boston which left a man with serious injuries,” a Lincolnshire Police statement read.

“This was believed to have taken place during the early hours of this morning (July 3) outside JD Wetherspoon on the High Street.

“The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains.

“A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and was taken to custody.”

Police say they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, adding ‘enquiries are ongoing’.
