McDonald’s drive-thru at Wyberton Fen given permission to install electric vehicle charging points

A drive-thru restaurant has been given the green light to convert three parking bays into electric vehicle charging points.

The McDonald’s restaurant at Wyberton Fen has been granted permission to install two rapid electric vehicle charging stations and ancillary equipment within the car park.

Applicant InstaVolt can tranform three existing parking spaces into EV charging bays after planning permission was granted by Boston Borough Council.

Meanwhile two hatched parking spaces will become one additional car parking bay.
