Fire crews from Kirton and Boston came to the aid of crash victims on the A52 at Swineshead

Fire crews came to the aid of the victims of a crash on the A52 this morning (Friday).

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue says crews from Kirton and Boston attended an incident at Swineshead at 6.52am.

Firefighters ‘assisted with casualty care’ and lifted one person onto a stretcher.

The condition of those involved - or the circumstances of the collision - are not yet known.

Fire crews also helped with traffic management and made the scene safe by disconnecting one of the vehicle batteries.
