Stickney venue crowned UK’s best car boot sale

A Lincolnshire venue has been named the UK’s top car boot sale.

Brits love a bargain, but according to experts, county residents won’t have to travel far to get the best deals.

Despite there being an abundance of carboot sales across the nation, whether you’re a buyer or a seller, it can be hard to know where to start without wasting your time.

To uncover the best locations, Gazeboshop have analysed the directory of car boot sales and measured key details along with their Google’s star rating to reveal the highest and lowest ranking car boot sales.

Ranking number one in England was the Stickney Car Boot.

“Like all of the top five car boot sales, Stickney offers free entry for potential buyers and a low cost of entry for sellers at only £8, keeping it accessible with potentially a low risk and high reward,” a Gazeboshop statement said.

“With an overall Google rating of 4.6, and a monthly search volume of 4,008 the turn out to this car boot means it’s likely that sellers will have successful days, and there are plenty of treasures for buyers to search for.

“Even if you don’t find anything to take home with you, with agreeable weather and free entry this car boot makes for a great day out.”

In second place was Kessingland in Suffolk, with Norfolk’s Sprowston event in third.

Weeting car boot in Norfolk came fourth with Woolpit in Bury St Edmunds fifth.

The study analysed 158 car boot sales across England, measuring the cost to pitch, entry fees for buyers, average weather conditions, search demand, and Google reviews. They then ranked the sales based on the highest combined average score across all these categories.
