Lincolnshire Police reveal that 62-year-old man has died after crash involving motorcycle and car in Boston’s Horncastle Road




A 62-year-old man has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

The incident took place in Horncastle Road, Boston - between Pilley’s Lane and Rawsons Lane - at about 2.50pm yesterday (Monday April 29).

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “The rider of a yellow Honda CBR 600 motorcycle died in the collision.

“The man's family have been made aware and our thoughts are with them at this exceptionally difficult time.

“Our specially trained offers will be providing them with help and support.

“We are investigating the circumstances around the collision and are asking anyone who has information to come forward.”

The nearby roads were closed following the incident to allow an investigation into the circumstances to begin.

Anyone who saw the collision, or the motorbike before or after it took place, should email SCIUInvestigators@lincs.police.uk quoting incident number of 243 of 29/04/24.
