The first of his opportunistic robberies happened on Monday, September 1, when he wrenched a necklace from an 82-year-old woman on Linden Way near Pilgrim Hospital.

The woman was left shaken but uninjured while Pashev escaped south towards Hospital Lane.

He struck again three days later, targeting an 81-year-old woman using crutches on John Adams Way in Boston town centre.

Pashev pushed his victim in the chest, grabbing her necklace as she fell onto a set of railings.

The pensioner needed surgery after breaking her wrist during the incident.

Pashev, 28, pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday, October 23, with Detective Constable Matt Wharton of Lincolnshire Police saying: “We are grateful to all those who shared our appeal.

“The help of our communities is always appreciated and can provide key information to assist our inquiries.

“We stand firm in our commitment to protecting and serving our communities.”

Despite ongoing police enquiries, both necklaces are still missing.
