‘No injuries’ as vehicle smashes through fence towards A16 at Wyberton




Police have dealt with an incident where a car smashed through a fence.

The front of the red Ford Focus has be seen poking through the fence by motorists travelling along the A16 at Wyberton.

Ironically it is peeping through next to the village sign which states ‘please drive carefully through our village’.

The vehicle hit the fence in a car park area off St Leodegar’s Close before being attended to by officers.

A Lincolnshire Police statement said: “An incident which was reported at 1.36pm on November 13, 24.

“The report is that a red Ford Focus has smashed through a fence at the far end of St Leodegar’s Lane, which separates the estate with the A16.

“No injuries were reported and the vehicle was recovered.”
