Plans to convert McDonald’s parking bays into electric vehicle charging points at Wyberton Fen

A fast food restaurant is hoping to convert three parking spots into electric vehicle parking bays.

Plans have been submitted to make the changes at the McDonald’s drive-thru on Wyberton Fen.

Applicant InstaVolt wants to install two rapid electric vehicle charging stations and ancillary equipment within the car park, with three existing parking spaces to become EV charging bays and two hatched parking spaces to become one additional car parking bay.

The plans have been submitted to Boston Borough Council.
