Railway crossing failure causing travel issues for motorists in Boston




A town centre is suffering congestion due to a railway crossing failure.

The incident is ongoing in Boston where the crossing which dissects the town along Sleaford Road is currently down.

The AA Traffick website is reporting a blocked road, queueing traffic and congestion.

“Road blocked and queueing traffic due to railroad crossing failure on A52 Sleaford Road both ways near Station Approach,” it said.

“Congestion to before the West End Road roundabout for inbound traffic with the opposite side back to Spilsby Road.”
