UK rockers Enter Shikari add Boston date to upcoming tour
Brit rockers Enter Shikari will be performing in Lincolnshire as part of their upcoming tour.
After headlining stadiums across the country earlier this year and performing at June’s Download Festival, the St Albans band - who have scored a UK number one album - will embark on what is being described as a ‘short and intimate’ series of gigs later this year.
They will take to the stage at Boston’s Gliderdrome on Saturday, November 30 (7pm), on a nine-date tour which will also take in cities such including Birmingham, Sheffield, Norwich and Glasgow.
Since forming in 2003 at school, electro-rock group Enter Shikari have released seven full-length studio albums, their latest A Kiss For The Whole World, released last spring.
All seven albums debuted in the UK Album Chart top five midweeks, with last year’s entry scoring the band their first-ever UK album chart number one.
Enter Shikari - who will be supported by Teenage Wrist - have been recipients of multiple awards and topped many a magazine reader’s poll, picking up a series of best live band gongs as well as statuettes from the likes of Kerrang!, Rock Sound, the Heavy Music Awards and NME.
Tickets for the show will cost £38, with a donation from each sale going towards the Music Venues Trust to support grassroots venues.
They will go on sale today (Wednesday, June 19) at 10am from www.ticketsource.co.uk.
