Paint a Pot Place in Bourne is moving to bigger premises in the Burghley Centre
A pottery business is relocating to a more prominent position after outgrowing its premises for the second time.
Paint a Pot Place will be moving to the Burghley Centre in Bourne at the end of the month after seven years at its current home in Wherry’s Lane.
The business had previously been located in West Street, but its increasing popularity prompted owners Claire and Derek Smalley to relocate.
Their next move to the Burghley Centre will offer them an even bigger space with more passing trade.
Derek said: “We’ll get better footfall and it will give us the ability to hold more workshops and activities. The extra space also means we’ll be able to leave the pottery wheels out all the time.”
The Paint a Pot Place team is aiming to open the new shop on Thursday, January 30. It will be in the building previously occupied by Dotty Doris clothing.
Among the first events to take place are an adults pottery painting and Prosecco night on Friday, February 7 from 7-9pm. The minimum spend is £15 per person. This will be followed by a Valentine’s Paint and Prosecco night on Friday, February 14.
