It's a dog's life at Summer Fayre
Saturday’s annual Summer Fayre in Kirkby Underwood has been hailed a huge success.
Summer Fayre committee member Anthony Jennings attributed an increase in visitors to a dog show that included more categories compared to previous years.
"It’s difficult to say how many more people we had this year but it was a lot," he said.
"The dog show attracted more people which swelled our numbers."
Anthony said overall the event, which took place from noon until 5pm on Manor House Field, had been a "great success".
"We did a roaring trade on the barbecue and all the stores did really well.
"The feedback we’ve had so far has been really positive."
