Rippingale man accused of commissioning or facilitating sexual offence against child in the Philippines due in court next month

A man who is accused of arranging or facilitating the commission of a sexual offence against a child in the Philippines will appear in court next month.

Gary Houldershaw, 63, whose address is listed in court documents as Linnet Drive, Rippingale, appeared before Boston Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Monday, October 27).

The charges are that he:

- intentionally arranged or facilitated an act in which another person in the Philippines would cause or incite a child to engage in sexual activity (not involving penetration). The offence is said to have happened on July 29, 2024 in Rippingale.

- made seven Category A indecent images of children between February 13, 2024, and October 16, 2024 in Rippingale

- made one Category B indecent image of a child between February 13, 2024, and October 16, 2024 in Rippingale

- made five Category C indecent images of children between February 13, 2024, and October 16, 2024 in Rippingale

- possessed two extreme pornographic images of a person with a fish on October 16, 2024 in Rippingale.

He has been released on condition bail and will next appear before Boston Magistrates’ Court on November 24.
