Willowtree Design Associates, in Burghley Street, Bourne, lodges plans to convert part of its space into beauty rooms

A recently transformed office space is looking to lease the front of its building to two beauticians.

Willowtree Design Associates, in Burghley Street, Bourne, applied to South Kesteven District Council to convert the front of its building into a space for two nail/beauty salons.

Last month, LincsOnline reported how the business had transformed the vacant site, previously home to the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes club room, into an office space.

In the planning statement, it says: “The two beauticians currently occupy town centre spaces and will relocate their business to 22 Burghley Street.

“There is no off-street parking at their existing premises, so staff and clients park on local roads or within the town’s public car parks as they would if they relocated to 22 Burghley Street.

“When the beauticians move to the new premises, it will retain their town centre presence, be more convenient for staff to access, and will also be a highly sustainable location for their small businesses due to the proximity of facilities, services and retail premises within the town centre.

“The move will also future-proof the businesses as the new premises will offer more space than they currently have.”

The application is awaiting a decision.
