Two arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Bourne are released on bail




Two men who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been released on bail.

Police had arrested a total of five people following an incident in Bedehouse Bank, Bourne, on Saturday night when a 28-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Two men, aged 30 and 33 years, have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder but have now been released on bail.

A police statement said: “Three other people a 28 year-old man, a 25 year-old man and a 21 year-old woman — arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply have also been released. The men have been bailed, while the woman has been released under investigation.

“Additionally, the 28-year-old man who was bailed has since been further arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.”

Officers have appealed for people who were in the Bedehouse Bank or Eastgate areas of Bourne to get in contact by calling 101.
