Witham Hall’s netball team are through to the Independent Association of Prep Schools national finals
Witham Hall girls' Under 13 netball team are heading to the national finals.
The team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination at the recent Independent Association of Prep Schools regional finals.
The competition, held at Uppingham School, saw 13 schools from across the region competing for a place in the national finals which are held at Cranleigh Prep School in Surrey this month.
The excitement of the tournament was palpable as the Witham Hall girls started the day with an outstanding 20-3 win against Beachborough School.
This gave them impressive confidence for their subsequent matches and further wins followed against Bilton Grange, Spratton Hall, St Hughes, Winchester House and The Dragon School.
Lucy Meadows, assistant director of sport at Witham Hall School, said: "The girls gave their everything and it certainly paid off as they qualified for the national finals.
"We wish the girls the best of luck this month as they battle to be crowned IAPS national netball champions."
