Market Deeping Christmas market and lights switch on to be held on December 1

A town will be getting into the Christmas spirit with its annual market.

Market Deeping will host a day of festivities on Sunday, December 1.

The Christmas market will open at 10am and close at 4.30pm, with carol singing and the lights switch on scheduled for about 4pm.

There will be rides and more than 50 stalls as well as an entertainment stage with a variety of local performers and an exhibition by Market Deeping Model Railway Club.

Mayor of Market Deeping Pam Byrd said: “There is lots for everyone all day long.”
