Expansion of Godsey Lane Coffee, in High Street, Market Deeping, begins
Works to expand a town café have begun.
Godsey Lane Coffee, in Market Deeping, began building an extension at the back of its premises in late September after receiving planning permission from South Kesteven District Council in August.
The application said the new space would accommodate a kitchen and additional seating.
A social media post from the café said the day-to-day running of the business would not be affected, but customers would not be able to sit outside.
It added: “If you see fridges and freezers shifting around and other strange things, please bear with us.
“We are preparing for our new outside extension. We will keep posting building updates so you can track our progress.”
The plans were submitted by Damian Cleveland Arc Survey and Design Consultants on behalf of the co-owner Terry Scott.
