Police arrest man for drug offences in Deeping Gate

Police arrested a man for drug offences after finding a hammer, cannabis, cash and drugs paraphernalia in his car.

The 19-year-old was arrested by officers in Deeping Gate on Sunday night (November 30) when they came across a car which smelt of cannabis.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon. He has since been released on bail.
