Jimmy D’s playgroup at Deeping St James Primary School rated as good by Ofsted

A playgroup has continued to offer a good level of care for preschool children.

Jimmy D’s at Deeping St James Primary School was rated as good across the board following an Ofsted inspection.

Inspector Hayley Ruane reported that the children develop positive relationships with the staff and are given opportunities to develop a sense of responsibility.

Manager Alison Bradshaw said: “I am delighted with the Ofsted report for Jimmy D’s and special thanks go to our staff for their hard work, our children and parents for their support.

“We are confident in our continuing success and future.”

To make further improvements the staff were advised to develop their communication with parents and strengthen their key-person system to make sure all children’s individual needs are catered for.
