Two men in hospital with serious injuries after ‘altercation’ in Gainsborough

Two men are in hospital after suffering serious injuries suffered in an ‘altercation’.

Police were called to an incident in Drake Street in Gainsborough at 11.35pm yesterday (Wednesday August 28).

A force spokesman said: “There will be a significant police presence in Gainsborough today as we investigate a number of potential scenes at Drake Street, Stafford Street and Washington Street.

“We are urging witnesses to come forward along with anyone with information that might help our investigation. We are also asking for any relevant dashcam or doorbell footage.”
