Armed police called to Grantham street after reports of man with knife

Armed police were called to a Grantham street last night (Wednesday) after reports of a man with a knife.

Officers were deployed to Princess Drive, Grantham, shortly before midnight following an altercation.

A 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and assault.

He is currently in custody.
