Garden in Rippingale damaged by fire




An unattended bonfire sparked a garden fire last night (Sunday, April 6).

Billingborough firefighters were called to Middle Street, Rippingale, at 11.57pm after a shed, greenhouse, fencing and garden furniture were alight.

The fire was caused by embers from an unattended bonfire igniting the shed, which was extinguished using one hose reel jet.
