Farrow Friends to host Care Fair at the Guildhall in Grantham

A ‘Care Fair’ will be held at the Guildhall later this month to showcase care and home-help services available in the area.

Farrow Friends, based in Grantham, will host a Care Fair in the Guildhall Arts Centre on September 29 between 11am and 3pm.

The event aims to showcase the range of care and home-help services that Grantham has available to the public locally.

It can also help people find out about new and emerging services that can support their loved ones.

Lauren Mann, founder of Farrow Friends, said: “It's so incredibly vital to raise awareness within our local area about the health and social care industry because we have so many new and emerging services available that people aren't often aware of unless they are sign posted to a very specific service or they know where to find out about them.

“Families often need to know of services in order to research them and at Farrow Friends it's our aim that by hosting this event we can help make the information more accessible so people in Grantham can see some of the fantastic care and support services on offer to them.

“It will also provide an opportunity for people to ask questions so they can make more informed choices about whether a service would be able to meet their needs.”

Those who are interested in working in the care industry can also find information at the event about what jobs are available in the social care sector.
