Charter Trustees will meet to discuss the budget for a future Grantham Town Council





A meeting of the Charter Trustees will take place in Grantham this week.

The Mayor of Grantham, Coun Mark Whittington, has called a meeting of the Charter Trustees for 7pm on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in the Mayor’s Parlour in the Guildhall.

The public meeting has been called to discuss the latest developments in the setting up of a town council for Grantham.

At a meeting of the Community Governance Review Working Group on September 18, members expressed concerns over the budget for a new town council.

It was agreed a meeting of the Charter Trustees should take place to debate the budgetary figures for the new town council and propose these to the full meeting of South Kesteven District Council at its November meeting.
