Christmas event raises over £1,000 for Eaton Village Hall

A Christmas-themed charity event raised over £1,000 for a village hall.

Eaton Village Hall hosted a Christmas gift fare on Sunday (November 19), which was free to enter.

Visitors enjoyed hot drinks, mulled wine and mince pies.

Ruth Allen, one of the organisers, said the raffle was "fabulous” thanks to donations from local business.

She added that the event was “a success”, with over £1,000 in aid of the village hall.
