Firefighters were called to a town shopping centre on Wednesday night.

Two fire crews from Grantham were called to the Isaac Newton Shopping Centre in Grantham, where Morrisons supermarket is based.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said on social media that their Grantham crews had attended the shopping centre at 6.07pm where crews used equipment to extinguish the fire.

“We can confirm that fire investigations have been completed and the cause was determined as an electrical fault in a refrigerator unit,” said a spokesperson for the force.
