Grantham youngsters take to stage for school nativity

Youngsters at Dudley House School in Grantham entertained the audience with a brilliant nativity production of ‘The Little Fir Tree.’

Pupils aged three to 11 took part in the performance which told the story of a little fir tree who embarked on a special journey to be a grown-up tree.

He eventually discovered that everyone was special and had their own reason to live. The performance led into the traditional nativity story.

Many parents, past pupils and residents from Martin Court retirement housing, Grantham, came along to watch the performance last Wednesday.

The talented pupils only started rehearsing two weeks before the performance.

Headteacher Jenny Johnson said: “I am very proud of all of our pupils and how well they have done.

“The children all worked together and it was lovely to see their confidence growing and so many of them that were willing to say their lines and sing solo.”
