Tickets still on sale for Oliver! at St Wulfram’s Church in Grantham
Tickets are still on sale for Oliver! At a local church.
MJH Productions will be staging the famous show at St Wulfram’s Church from Tuesday, August 8 until Saturday, August 12.
The production company auditioned hundreds of talented performers of all ages from across the East Midlands to assemble the company, including four gifted young actors from local schools who share the principal roles of Oliver and the Artful Dodger.
Matt Hewitt, producer, said: “For this production we have been blessed with some extraordinary talented performers, and of course our job was to create a spectacular show for our audience which will live in the memory for years to come.
“I honestly feel that together we have achieved just that.
“I have produced many musicals which have received wide-acclaim, ‘Oliver!’ though is on an altogether different level.”
The production would not be complete without Bill Sykes’ canine sidekick Bullseye.
The search, which spanned the region, cast English Bull Terrier Sykes as the canine star.
Featuring all of the classic numbers you would expect, from ‘Pick or Pocket or Two’ ‘Consider Yourself’ and ‘Where is Love’, the show benefits from state-of-the-art sound and lighting design alongside incredible choreography and a fantastic live band.
Tickets start from £18 and can be brought at https://www.guildhallartscentre.com/whats-on/all-shows/oliver-mjh-productions
They are also available from the Guildhall Box Office, in St Peter’s Hill, Grantham.
