Harrowby United open their United Counties League campaign as part of the Ground Hop weekend
Promoted Harrowby United will kick-off their United Counties League campaign as part of the popular Ground Hop weekend.
They will host Eastwood CFC in their opening match of the Premier Division North season after clinching promotion through the play-offs last season.
The Red Badgers will visit the JRL Brickwork Stadium on Saturday, July 27, with the match kicking off at 6pm.
The contest is the fourth match in the six-game Ground Hop weekend which gets underway on Friday night at Aylestone Park when they host Coventry United.
Shirebrook Town's match with Newark and Sherwood gets Saturday's matches underway at 11am before Retford host Gedling Miners Welfare at 2.15pm ahead of Harrowby's home clash.
The Sunday action sees Coalville host Southwell City at 12pm with Rugby Borough then playing Leicester Nirvana at 3.30pm.
Harrowby have organised a couple of higher level tests as part of their pre-season preparations.
The Arrows will start their friendlies on Tuesday, July 9, with a home match against Southern League Premier Division Central side Stamford who are managed by ex-Harrowby boss Graham Drury.
They then tackle United Counties League Premier Division North rivals Sleaford Town in the South Kesteven Charity Cup on Saturday, July 13.
A trip to Northern Premier League East Division side Carlton Town has been organised for Tuesday, July 16.
The Arrows will then be in action again on Saturday, July 20, in the South Kesteven Charity Cup against either Grantham Town or Deeping Rangers.
