Harrowby United beat Gresley Rovers in the United Counties League
Harrowby recorded their biggest away victory of the United Counties League season after a four-goal success at Gresley Rovers on Saturday.
First half goals from Lewis Marsh, Tom Harris and Taylor Gray gave the Arrows control of the Premier Division North contest.
Harvey Graves then sealed the success in injury-time to drop struggling Gresley into the bottom two relegation places.
The Arrows had travelled to Derbyshire with a virtually full squad to pick from despite the absences of Richard Kankam and Elliot King.
They made the perfect start by taking a fourth minute lead as Marsh lost his marker to convert a Jack Gurney corner for the opening goal.
The bright beginning continued in the 12th minute as Issa Gaye beat his marker before crossing for Harris to score at the second attempt.
Gresley were not without their chances as Alex Smith in the Harrowby goal made a great save from Jack Thatcher.
Harrowby then went up the other end and the impressive Gray headed in on the line after a mistake in the Gresley defence.
The Moatmen were still creating chances but lacked that final quality in the last third while Harry Allcock went close for Harrowby with an excellent effort that went just wide.
The second half was a really scrappy 45 minutes with Harrowby not getting out of second gear and Gresley having a couple of chances to get back in the game.
Harrowby added their fourth goal late on as the impressive Graves ran through before finishing past the keeper.
The visitors then finished the match with 10 men when Scott Floyd was red-carded for an off the ball incident.
It capped a great three points for Harrowby who now sit ninth with seven games to go.
They take on Lincoln United tomorrow night (Tuesday) in a match which is being played at Sleaford Town's Elsaforde Park ground.
