Junior section round-up from Belton Park Golf Club
Junior golfers at Belton Park concluded their 2024 season this weekend with the presentation of their final trophy.
The Paul Woods memorial knockout was won by junior vice-captain Finn Reeves who was presented with his trophy by Liz Wood and Belton Park chairman Ian Whyte.
Other 2024 winners were: Bill Whyte Trophy – Blake Smith (junior captain); Teddy Edwards Trophy – Finn Reeves; Stanrene Cup - Blake Smith; Ancaster Shield – Blake Smith; Junior Club Championship Gross, Nett – Harry Briggs-Price, Blake Smith; Jeremy Grace Trophy – Blake Smith; Ian Ward Trophy – Blake Smith; Junior Organiser Award – Annabelle King; Josh Smith Coach’s Award – Connor O’Rielly; ADA Shield – Ollie Rose; Trevor Ireland Trophy – Emily King; Golf Foundation Golf Sixes South Lincolnshire League winners for the second consecutive year.
The junior section would like to thank their Belton Park PGA professional Josh Smith for his Saturday morning coaching which has enabled these great results in 2024 season.
