Grantham Town Football Club are preparing to celebrate their 150th anniversary

Grantham Town will be celebrating a momentous milestone next season.

It is the 150th anniversary of the Gingerbreads who are planning a series of events throughout the year.

And chairman Paul Rawden is hoping the club can commemorate their achievement by involving the town's community.

He said: "Over the past century and a half, Grantham Town has been the heart and soul of our town, bringing together generations of football enthusiasts and creating lasting memories for players and fans alike.

"From our club's humble beginnings to our rise as a respected club in non-league football, we've remained committed to nurturing local talent and fostering a deep sense of community spirit.

"We're now planning a series of events throughout the year that will allow us to reflect on our past successes and look ahead to an even brighter future.

"We want to make our 150th anniversary a truly unforgettable occasion and support, whether it's through sponsorship, attendance at our events, or simply spreading the word, would be invaluable in ensuring that Grantham Town's legacy continues to thrive for generations to come.

"I look forward to our many events planned and hope everyone will get involved and be a part of this momentous celebration. Together, we can make this milestone year one to remember."

The Gingerbreads will be playing in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division next season and match day admission has been set at £10 for adults, £6 concessions and £3 juniors.

Season tickets are now available at £160 for adults, £80 concessions and £45 juniors. For further information email Pat Nixon at psnixon@hotmail.com
