Sudbrook Moor Golf Club round-up

Still with a keen appetite for competitive golf and seizing trophy titles, Sudbrook Moor's Graham Mackinder has lifted the Senior Rose Millennium Trophy following two excellent scorecards.

Round one was played as a stableford in which Graham returned a top score of 43 points.

Using a unique formula, a combination of his nett score from week two's medal round and his earlier stableford points assured Graham of overall best competitor.

He was his usual quiet and modest self at the time of receiving the trophy and added that he has recently made a timely purchase of a new glass cabinet - who would have known such perfect timing for displaying his latest silverware.

Sudbrook Moor's scratch golfer Levi Desmond travelled to The Wirral and north Lancashire last week.

At Caldy Golf Club, contesting the 36-hole Caldy Quart, Levi finished with a third place and a score of two under.

At Chorley, in The Jacklin Trophy, Levi took a second place with three under, all adding points to the Northern Order of Merit.
