Sudbrook Moor Golf Club round-up
Two victories in 10 days have secured progress for Sudbrook Moor Golf Club in the county matchplay knock-out competitions.
They started their defence of the Lincolnshire inter-club scratch singles title, the JF Bramley Trophy, with a dominant victory over Boston.
The trio of Levi Desmond, Rob Reid and Craig Toyne set off with quiet determination and returned a solid 2.5-0.5 victory to set up a meeting with Lincoln in the next round.
The Elsham Foursomes team also enjoyed a successful evening against Sleaford.
As runners-up in the Lincolnshire inter-club scratch foursomes competition last year, Sudbrook Moor's tenacious and optimistic team came through with an aggregate score of +10 to go forward to meet Belton Park.
Their squad consisted of Rob Reid, Phil Kidd, Levi Desmond, Ben Bulmer, Ian Batty and Nigel Corby.
