Sudbrook Moor Golf Club round-up




Two victories in 10 days have secured progress for Sudbrook Moor Golf Club in the county matchplay knock-out competitions.

They started their defence of the Lincolnshire inter-club scratch singles title, the JF Bramley Trophy, with a dominant victory over Boston.

The trio of Levi Desmond, Rob Reid and Craig Toyne set off with quiet determination and returned a solid 2.5-0.5 victory to set up a meeting with Lincoln in the next round.

Sudbrook's squad in the Elsham Foursomes was Rob Reid, Phil Kidd, Levi Desmond, Ben Bulmer, Ian Batty and Nigel Corby.

The Elsham Foursomes team also enjoyed a successful evening against Sleaford.

As runners-up in the Lincolnshire inter-club scratch foursomes competition last year, Sudbrook Moor's tenacious and optimistic team came through with an aggregate score of +10 to go forward to meet Belton Park.

Their squad consisted of Rob Reid, Phil Kidd, Levi Desmond, Ben Bulmer, Ian Batty and Nigel Corby.
