Harrowby United beat Ashby Ivanhoe in the United Counties League
Harrowby made a winning return home after four successive away games with victory over Ashby Ivanhoe on Saturday.
The Arrows secured a 2-1 win and are now unbeaten in their last seven matches in the United Counties League Premier Division North.
First half goals from Elliot King and Jack Gurney helped secure a quick-fire double over their visitors after Harrowby's one-goal triumph in Leicestershire at the beginning of the month.
The Arrows were missing Tom Harris and Jon Smith due to injury but skipper Kemal Yeniberitz, Lewis Marsh and Richard Kankam returned to the defence after missing the goalless draw at Hucknall last weekend.
Charlie Hart, Harry Allcock and Issa Gaye all came into the starting lineup as Jonny Gilbert, Kyle Reek and Lord Marfo made way.
The Arrows started well and were on top in the early stages with Gurney again pulling the strings in midfield with his range of passing.
Harrowby took the lead with a great move as Hart played the ball wide to Allcock who whipped in a great cross for King to power home a header.
The Arrows doubled their lead shortly after as Harrison Dee made a run into the penalty area where he was brought down.
Gurney stepped up to give the keeper no chance from the penalty spot as Harrowby moved into a deserved two-goal lead.
The Arrows had further chances to put the game out of reach before half-time with Allcock seeing one effort disallowed for a close offside call.
The home side had expected a strong onslaught from their visitors to start the second half but it didn't really materialise.
Harrowby still had the better chances to put the game to bed as changes were made to freshen things up with Marfo and the returning Scott Floyd replacing Hart and Gaye.
With Harrowby managing the game well without goalkeeper Alex Smith really being called upon, Ashby got a lifeline with 10 minutes remaining.
The dangerous Sam Grouse found room to get his shot off against his former club only for it to ricochet off a defender in the box for Jordan Wilson to score.
The visitors then forced a couple of dangerous corners which were well dealt with by good headers from Floyd and Kyle Watkins as Harrowby saw the game out.
They have now won six of their last seven league games ahead of back-to-back home games against two Lincolnshire rivals.
They host Boston Town on Tuesday night before entertaining Skegness on Saturday.
