“I am very proud of the recognition the report has given the school community.

“William Stukeley is a very special place which helps pupils to be the best that they can be.”

The Holbeach school, which is part of the Stukeley Federation, achieved gradings of good in behaviour and attitudes, quality of education, early years provision and leadership and management while grading as outstanding for personal development.

In their report, Ofsted praised the school’s ‘broad and ambitious curriculum’ and stated that ‘pupils achieve exceptionally well’.

They also commented on the school’s provision for personal development, describing it as ‘exceptional’.

Chair of governors Richard Nicholas added: “On behalf of all the governing body, I would like to give all of our staff a huge thank you for all the hard work put in.

“The outstanding judgement in personal development shows that our children grow into well-rounded citizens, ready to take on the challenges of life.”
