Holbeach Hurn, Crowland and Gosberton Clough affected by power cuts after Storm Isha hits Lincolnshire
Engineers are working to restore electricity for homes in three areas – after Storm Isha left the area with power cuts.
Updates by the National Grid show that 73 properties in Crowland had been without a power supply which was reported this morning (Monday, January 22).
The reason for the outage was due to a fault in the overhead network and engineers hope to resolve the issue by 4pm today – however, the matter has been fixed ahead of schedule this morning.
A National Grid spokesperson said: “The outage was due to a fault caused by Storm Isha’s high winds. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to customers.
Postcodes affected by this incident included PE6 0DJ, PE6 0EF, PE6 0EG, PE6 0HE, PE6 0HG.
A further 27 properties have also been affected by a power cut in Holbeach Hurn.
The spokesperson added: “We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 7.27am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.”
It is estimated that power will be restored by 3.30pm this afternoon (Monday, January 22.)

Postcodes currently affected by this include PE11 4JL.
Meanwhile two properties have been affected in Gosberton Clough due to ‘a fault on our low voltage network in your area which we are working hard to resolve’.
Engineers are currently working on the fault reported at 7.36am today which should be resolved this morning.
Postcodes currently affected by this include PE12 8JG, PE12 8JQ.
