Motorcycle rider taken to hospital after Fleet Hargate crash

A teenage motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a van.

Police were called to a crash on Old Main Road in Fleet Hargate outside Willows Day Nursey at 4.11pm yesterday (Tuesday June 10).

Officers say the incident involved a green Keeway motorcycle and a white VW Crafter van — and the road was shut for more than seven hours.

A force spokesman said: “The rider of the motorcycle, a teenage male, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene. It was re-opened at around 11.20pm.”

Any witnesses to the crash should call 101 quoting incident 262 of June 10.
