Plans for 200 homes in village near Horncastle submitted to East Lindsey District Council

Plans have been submitted to build up to 200 homes in a village near Horncastle.

Applicant ADAS Land has applied to East Lindsey District Council to build the homes on land east of Lincoln Road, Thimbleby.

The site is located next to the A158 and is approximately 1.4 miles from Horncastle.

ADAS Land wants to demolish the existing farm buildings and the plans include changes to the access routes, landscaping, biodiversity enhancements and the development of a play area.

A report explained that fields at the site are currently used for growing horticultural crops.

East Lindsey District Council will assess the plans and make a decision at a later date.
