Arrest made after man left with potentially life-altering injuries following Coninsby pub incident




A woman has been arrested after a man was left with potentially life-altering injuries following an incident at a pub.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses who were at the Black Swan in Coningsby at around 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday, June 29).

A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of class A drugs.

“Did you witness an argument between a man and a woman which is reported to have resulted in a 42-year-old man sustaining what are believed to be serious, potentially life-altering, injuries,” a police statement said.

“Officers are keen to build a picture of the circumstances leading up to the reported assault.

“Did you witness anything that might be of note for our investigation? If so, we would like to hear from you as you might hold vital information.”
