Spalding students and Long Sutton workers pictured 25 years ago

Five students at Spalding High School raised hundreds of pounds for charity in their Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme project 25 years ago.

The lower sixth formers had to raise £500 for the award service section, and a cake stall, karaoke and disco made a very impressive £612, which they handed over to representatives of the Pilgrim Hospital Scanner Appeal.

Successful staff at the Long Sutton office of William H Brown were looking forward to selling more homes 25 years ago.

The branch had already won the Office of the Month award and followed it up with the Lincolnshire Office of the Quarter accolade.
