Fundraisers took part in the Great North Swim 10 years ago to raise £2,600 for good causes. Friends Neil Gornall and James Le Sage, from Spalding, were among the 10,000 swimmers who took part in the event at Lake Windermere, joined by former Spalding man Mark Seaborn.

The trio raised £1,000 for Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and a further £1,000 for Parkinson’s reaserach.
