Kind volunteer receives award for good deeds and in Fleet a seasonal harvest was enjoyed by all back in 2012




A Holbeach volunteer was recognised for their amazing work ten years ago.

Margaret Lawson was acknowledged for her work within the community of Holbeach.

She was presented an award by Lorraine Lenton (pictured on the right), deputy chief executive of Lincolnshire County Council and Voluntary Service.

Margaret was given the award for the amazing work she did with Age UK and received the award at the Lyndis Walk Community Hall in Holbeach.

Elsewhere, members from Fleet Baptist Church had enjoyed their annual harvest festival ten years ago.

Pictured below are some of the generous donations of the produce that the Church received.

These included home-made cakes, home grown vegetables and much more that was enjoyed by all who attended.
