RSPCA Mid and Lincoln Branch looks for a home for large bull terrier dog Toppa
A large dog is patiently waiting for a new home - after being overlooked by potential adopters who may be put off by his size and strength.
Bull terrier Toppa arrived at the RSPCA Lincolnshire Mid and Lincoln Branch in October last year. In his previous home he was kennelled for a lot of the time and didn’t get much exercise.
Sadly, he has not had much interest yet - but the RSPCA hopes his new home will be just around the corner, with Toppa having a lot of love to give.
Melanie Winstanely, the branch’s manager, said: “Toppa is a really lovely dog and we are keen for him to go to a new home where he will be loved and cared for. In return you will receive lots of affection from him and you will be truly blessed as he will make such a fantastic pet for your family.
“We can only imagine his size is putting people off as he is large, but there will be someone out there who doesn’t mind this, along with his strength, he is still such a gentle loveable dog.

“He engages really well with people and enjoys interacting with other large dogs. We recommend his new owner is experienced with big dogs as he has not had much training and his ideal home would be with older children purely because of his size and strength.”
Toppa’s new home would need a large garden so he can exercise freely. He is OK being left alone for short periods of time.
