Lincolnshire Police appeal for witnesses after girl, 12, injured in collision in Lincoln





Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old girl was injured when a car ran over her foot.

The girl was crossing Moorland Way on Tritton Road, in Lincoln, on Saturday, March 23, between 3.10pm and 3.45pm where a car reportedly ran over her foot and left it fractured.

Lincolnshire Police officers believe the vehicle is metallic blue in colour and may be a Nissan Qashqai or a Kia Sportage.

The girl was with a group of secondary school age children at the time.

A female driver and male passenger in the car allegedly stopped to check on her, but later left without providing their details.
