Police issue appeal to trace those responsible for Lincoln park knife threats
People playing football in a city park were said to have been threatened with knives – and police are now looking for witnesses to the incident.
Officers say the threats were made at about 4.40pm on Sunday (March 17) at Boultham Park in Lincoln.
A force spokesman said: “We are keen to speak with anyone we have not yet taken a statement from, and to view any footage which might have captured the incident, such as mobile phone recordings passers-by may have made.”
Three people were located by officers and arrested in connection with the incident – and no-one is said to have been injured.
