Police called after van crashed into fence at RAF Scampton

Police were called after a vehicle had crashed at an RAF base.

Lincolnshire Police were called to RAF Scampton at 1.54pm today (Wednesday, September 4) after receiving reports of a van hitting a fence.

A force spokesman said: “Incident 231 was reported to us at 1.54pm and refers to an incident of a van that had crashed into a fence at RAF Scampton.

“Police officers attended whilst the vehicle was recovered. No injuries have been reported.”
